Help Against Sore Throat and Sweating: Sage

Sweat all over your hair and skin is not pleasant and yet the perspiration is a very efficient cooling system of the body so that the body does not even limp on the hottest days of the year. Not to forget: By sweating pollutants can be removed from the body, skin is cleaned and excess salts are removed the body. However, sweaty hands, unpleasant odors and sweaty clothes are not necessary every day of the year. An average adult has two to four million sweat glands - up to half a liter of sweat may be secreted per day. Natural means without any chemicals can help. Sage can be especially effective stopping the body's production of sweat. Scientific studies show that the herb can reduce up to 50% of the welding flux. After up to four days of use wet hands should be history. However, the effective range of action is limited to approximately nine days. A sage foot bath helps against sweaty feet. For the perfect anti-sweating tea, cut one to two teaspoons of sage leaves into small pieces, add to boiling water and let it draw for 10 minutes. Then drink the tea cooled three times daily.

Sweat-Killers: Sauna, Massage, Drinking

Anyone who regularly goes to the sauna can prevent sweat. You can also remove excess sweat with spicy dishes. An old home remedy is rubbing alcohol: try rubbing your hands with it three times daily and chances are good you won’t sweat too much. For heavily perspiring people it is better to wear clothes made of linen or functional textiles. This is breathable. It is important to drink a lot if you sweating. Ideal are water and isotonic drinks. The sweat can also be massaged away. Massage the acupressure points on the skull bone behind the ear with circular movements of the index finger. Try these methods out and tell us if it worked!
